The new Belles LA-01 Remote Controlled Line Stage Solid State Preamplifier features state of the art performance. The Belles LA-01 achieves the ultimate in musical sound performance by keeping the signal path as simple and direct as possible. In order to accomplish this, it uses an uncluttered design approach. It has no tape loop, tape outputs, theater bypass or any other features to contaminate the signal path. The preamplifier is strictly a listener playback piece of equipment.

The LA-01 has a separate power supply housed in an separate enclosure that is a visual compliment to the preamplifier enclosure. The power supply is balanced and has four stages of decoupling to isolate it from the power line, making it seem like a battery powered unit. The rugged construction of the LA-01 aids in providing a rigid structure to eliminate mechanical feedback vibrations. For, example the top and botton covers are 1/4 inch thick aluminum, the side and rear panels are 3/8 inch thick aluminum, and the front panel is 1/2 inch aluminum. The enclosure is decoupled from its mounting surface with four STILLPOINT feet.

The LA-01 has four unbalanced stereo line inputs and two main stereo unbalanced outputs. The line stage has an ultra low distortion high input impedance direct-coupled amplifier with zero output impedance. The output stage features power mosfets which can drive the power amplifier hard to produce incredible dynamic sound.
