Overview
Growing in experience is a key attribute in the life of a successful craftsman. Past successes serve as a platform for future designs. The original Belles 150A Reference Stereo amplifier, introduced in 2003, was a significant step forward in state-of-the-art amplifier design.

Building upon that successful platform, the new Belles 150A Reference Stereo Power Amplifier Version 2 (V2) offers improved performance at a price that is lower than the original. The new Belles 150A Reference V2 has improved musicality, lower noise, and a high dampening factor, which gives the unit a greater ability to drive difficult speaker loads.
The 150A Reference amplifier V2 circuit consists of 3 stages:
	• an input stage with matched dual J-FETS/Bi-polars in a cascaded differential pair
	• a voltage gain stage using bipolar transistors
	• a final stage using a source follower with 8 power mosfet, class B biased

All the circuitry for the amplifier is located on a single printed circuit board; while the power transistors are located separately on the unit’s heat sinks. Isolating the circuit from the power transistors to eliminate the:
    - Effects of mechanical vibrations on the output signal
    - Susceptibility to electro-magnetic interference for lower noise

At 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms, the Belles 150A Reference Power Amplifier V2 is a worthy successor to the original Belles 150A Reference.

Features
	• Dual-mono design topology.
	• Each channel an integrated circuit assembly
	• Gold-plated oxygen free copper binding posts and wire
	• Gold-plated input connectors accommodate balanced and unbalanced signals
	• 1000 VA toroidal power transformer, to eliminate stray magnetic fields
	• A pair can be used as mono-block units
	• Uses polypropylene capacitors
	• All power resistors are non-inductive ceramic
	• 1% metal film resistors used throughout
	• 3 stages of amplification
	• Negative feedback circuit stabilizes gain, reduces distortion, noise and output impedance
	• Uses a trimmed DC servo amplifier to maintain DC stability and speaker offset voltage.
	• Available with either a silver or black anodized front panel

A pair of 150A Reference amplifiers V2 have exceptional performance and power at 500 Watts per channel into 8 ohms!
